Red lobster is still edible, but it’s not what it used to be. It was somewhat a tradition for red lobster to be my annual birthday destination for some crab and fried calamari. The last 4-5 times I’ve attended this particular University location has been less than impressive. During my last visit, the floor was dirty with torn napkin pieces that remained there for our entire meal. The wait staff did the bare minimum. They had to be asked to fill drinks. I ordered calamari and It came without any vegetables. I asked the waitress and she assured me that it did not, nor has the calamari ever come with fried broccoli and peppers. Maybe that was just a faulty memory? Our food came out with the wrong sides, forgotten salads, and they forgot my scallops. We were already done eating when the scallops came out. They took them back and comped them. That restaurant used to be a great little spot to grab a seafood meal with family, but the quality has steadily gone down over the last 5 or so years. It has basically become a Long John Silvers with nicer tables. My last visit to this location will be just that, my last visit. There are so many more places to get seafood in this town, so why not?

Went there for the first time with a couple of friends for there famous unlimited shrimp fest. No doubt there was plenty of food for 15.99. The server was polite and was bringing everything we wanted with a smile. However, the shrimps were not very tasteful and even after the whole meal something felt missing. Id call that not a value for money. Typical of any ‘cheap’ buffet places. Will not have the shrimp again.

Service was impecable, food was delicious and location was good. We will be returning. Word of advice- get there before the lunch crowd and you will have the best time! Oh and there is a tank of live lobsters at the entrance that the host is more than happy to inform about. Nice touch!
