I visited the store in Troy, AL I specifically told the sales clerk that I wanted to purchase a living room suit on the no interest plan. This was on a Saturday and she gathered my information. She sent it in and told me initially that I was denied. After review, she indicated that the denial was on an old address. Once she entered my correct address she told me I was approved. She asked me did I want to make a down payment but did not indicate that the interest free was subject to a down payment. So, I declined to make a down payment. Upon receiving my first statement it indicated I was charged interest. When I talked to the same lady she indicated that approved the account that charged interest. No, I did not. She neglected to give me the full details.
