It was a beautiful park, so relaxing to just hear the sounds if nature. I would recommend going on a day the shuttle was running. It was hot and humid so the walk on the trails felt longer than three miles

The Park Rangers are warm, inviting and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. We joined their Starry Night Event and it was great. We were a group of 9 from 2 yrs old to 45 and we were all engaged during their presentation. We’ve been here before and will continue to visit. Make sure you bring bug spray and whatever else is recommended for the activity you are attending.

This place looks some what medium to long trails with lots of bird watching station. This has been the far off more bird sighting ever with wildlife as well. But we couldn’t finish seeing everything because our daughter with autism wasn’t up to walking. But still had fun she said. Trails clean, restroom clean, gift store nice stuff, rangers friendly and educating info. Shuttle rides. Rental biking, binoculars. If you come. Come on your own risk. Enjoy.
