Honestly, I love the catfish more then their Biscuit n’ gravy. Felt they need to work on their biscuits n’ gravy. Maybe a little more pepper and add some sausage in the gravy. The smoke sausage patty tasted decent but needs some work. HOWEVER, their catfish I can go back for most definitely. I am giving five stars because their waitresses are very southern comfort type and treat you like family.

Stopped for the night passing through Temple TX and wanted a dinner but not fast good. CRcker Barrel is a good choice. Food is consistent at all the locations we’ve visited over the years, 6 states. Our server, Jada, did a very nice job, was extremely polite yet efficient. Came back often to see if we needed anything and brought the wife her favorite flavor of jelly when asked. Kudos to the manager for hiring and training this young lady in the right way. Two thumbs up and a 5 star rating!

I can never go wrong in ordering breakfast at Cracker Barrel their food is so delicious and amazing! The service is great, the atmosphere is friendly and the place is always clean. The pancakes are fantastic and so is their buttermilk biscuits n’ gravy dish. I just about always order their Grandma’s sampler it’s my favorite breakfast meal there. They also sell a hash brown casserole with cheese and bacon I’ve tried it it’s delicious! They have other meal selection but I really have not ordered anything else….one day I will for sure. Love the items they sell and additional merchandise they have here like clothing; plus their candy !
