Been to a variety of tattoo shops across the country for multiple tattoos – never dealt with this level of unprofessionalism/nonchalance, especially from the owner of a shop. Made an appointment for a week out, then had the owner cancel the day OF (just a few hours before the appointment was supposed to take place) because he decided to go out of town for undisclosed reasons. Had to reschedule for 2 weeks after the fact. Showed up for the 4 PM appointment at 3:45, was told the owner/artist was out getting food but would be back in 15 minutes. Sat around waiting for over 90 minutes after that. When he finally showed up, he not only refused to do the piece that had initially been set up, but also slightly degraded it/the style the piece was in before pushing the appointment off to another one of the artists. Shop charges $200 an hour, work definitely isn’t worth that much to begin with (compared to every other shop I’ve been to), and certainly isn’t worth that much after dealing with all this. Cancelled the appointment out of frustration because of how uncomfortable with the situation/shop we felt and the owner wouldn’t let us get our deposit back (was never explained that it wasn’t refundable). Wouldn’t come here at all – but especially if you’re new to tattoos. They’re incredibly stubborn and will absolutely take you for a ride. Other shops in the area are much more cooperative, professional and friendly – the artists AND the prices.
