After visiting this Home Depot tool rental desk on several occasions, with my husband, yesterday I visited the tool rental desk alone. My experience was vastly different without my husband present and I will never use this location again or recommend it to anyone.After standing for a couple of minutes waiting to be acknowledged or greeted, the guy behind the counter just says what’s up Assuming that was my queue to tell him what I needed because hello or how can I help you or even do you need to rent something clearly weren’t options for him. I tell him what I need. He leaves to get it. Then from across the room says it has a ticket on it. Not knowing what that meant, I ask for an explanation. He says the same words again. I tell him online shows they have 2 in stock. He says well they both have repair tickets on them. Then he walks off.I found his lack of customer service completely off putting. While in the store, I shared my experience with manager Vanessa. She offered an apology. I hope she also uses the feedback to improve the customer service at the tool rental desk.

Arrived at 8am on Sunday April 16. Beautiful spring day. Would have expected doors to open promptly and registers to be staffed given normal rush on a spring weekend. Doors to nursery never opened. Front registers not staffed and had to cash for cash back. Nursery still not open. Having to push a dozen bags of mulch across store not fun. Opening at 8am should mean ‘game time’ vs ‘start warming up’. Shareholders take note…
