Our charms, rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and other jewelry is still designed and produced in our Texas Hill Country workshops–not far from where James Avery, our founder, started in the summer of 1954. AWFUL customer service!this was my first time ever going into a James Avery and I will never return to any location because of how poor the customer service was here. I walked into the store looking for a Mother’s Day gift and it was very busy , which I COMPLETELY understand, and as I walked in I wasn’t helped but the people behind me and in-front of me were … I thought maybe they assumed I was with another party or hadn’t seen me, but after 10 minutes of just walking around and searching for someone to ask for help I grew a little impatient. The only upside to this whole experience was one employee who helped and I wish I would have gotten her name ! She directed me through the whole process and then took me to the line where I waited to be checked out. As I was waiting in line, the employee who was helping check people out completely skipped over me and took the paper from person behind me ! Not to mention that she had taken the paper from person in front of me, so she knew I was next in line. I don’t see how any of this was an accident and I really do not believe that it was. I don’t know if I was treated differently because of the way I dressed (which was just casual by the way!) but I have read previous reviews on this location about the staff being snotty towards appearance, which is VERY unprofessional might I add . The service here was so awful that I would like to let the people who read this know that I went out of my way to write my first ever google review on this place. Will not be returning and honestly I do not recommend to anyone.

The jewelry is handmade, classically beautiful, and mostly silver with a small amount of gold pieces. Service is friendly and down to earth, very helpful finding pieces that will fit in most budgets. Customizable pieces are available online and they can usually piece together something unique that you might not have noticed in the display cases.

I walked in today to grab a pair of studs in seen online. I was dressed in a t shirt with work out shorts. I just helped a friend move. I went to ask an “associate” for help when she looked me up and down before assisting me. Mind u she is the 30 yr old working retail. Due to her wearing a knock off denim jacket and her hideous orange dress from Walmart I guess she thought she was inferior to peasant ol me. I’ll never go back. No thx. Instead of judging my appearance she may want to review her life choices and fashion choices too! Disgusting
