Nice store, unfortunately didn’t see the factory active, only 1 employee in store today. Lots of little items, a mix of souvenirs not just knives. Some actually cheaper than other places I been to.

After a fun trolley ride from downtown to this small factory that manufacturers a unique utility knife named ‘Ulu’, that has a long and current history with the Alaskan people. You can see them manufactured from start to finish. In addition, there is a wide assortment of nicely crafted wooden, leather and artistic goods for purchase in their gift shop. It was a fun and educational side trip. Enjoy.

I was there in September 2019 and it was a great place to visit. As a knife collector it was very interesting to me to watch as they made the Ulu knives. If you’re in Anchorage I strongly recommend visiting the Ulu Factory.
