With our historic view, cannery-style architecture, rustic theme and downtown location, the Fish House is a great venue for locals and visitors alike. We’ve recently added a fully stocked bar and full schedule of musical artists to accommodate our guests. Serving the freshest and highest quality local seafood in a timely manner will always be our top priority, and our recent additions turn a great meal into a great evening.

At that time, I seemed to have arrived early, and the store had not yet opened.

Ordered the AK Sampler: fried Halibut, Salmon, and Cod.

They don’t have cod fish and chips anymore. If you like breaded fish that is dry go for it. At least it’s clean and small. I get they are recovering after being closed for so long. But it’s a fish and chips place. They don’t even have the basic cod and the fish was over done.

A nice, quick place to grab fresh fish and chips or crab meat the cruise docks in Ketchikan. Obviously, it will get crowded when there are multiple ships in port, but even with four ships, the staff took orders, delivered food and turned over tables efficiently. The atmosphere is friendly but still distinctly fast-casual. You’re not going to be hanging out here for hours just enjoying the scenery. The food was quite good, worth fish that tastes fresh and chips that are flavorful and crispy without being over-fried or too salty. Portions are pleasing but not generous. The focus is quality not quantity. If you’re looking to be filled up, go with the three piece basket. The local tap beers are a nice addition. They are primarily ales, as you’ll commonly find in Alaska, and blend a touch of sour with only mild hoppy bitterness.

The service and attention I received has always been great. Kindness and little details goes a long way. Food is great too!
