Love talking to the owner Carlos, and another dude that works there named Josh and last time I came, I wanted to say hi to Carlos but I was told he was in Austin whenever I came weeks ago and I hope the trip went well for him! It was a place where I cracked a few good jokes, looked through the vinyls, cassettes, and CDs and I love the prices! Cassettes were around like $1-$2 and most of the CDs were around $4-$5. Last purchase I made was 2 Sting albums. Nothing Like The Sun…. and The Soul Cages. Nothing Like The Sun…. made me dance to some songs and The Soul Cages made me cry because of how beautiful every song was. I’ve had absolutely no regrets coming to Hybrid and will most likely come look around again another time! And everytime I come home, I tell friends about Hybrid Records and so far, I’ve got at least 10 people interested in visiting the store one day and I hope they do. It’ll make Carlos and the staff happy to gain new customers to look at their store!
