Stopped here for gas and to use the restroom. To get to the restroom I passed the manager’s office. A woman (presumably worker) was in the doorway with her mask pulled down, talking to the manager who wasn’t wearing any mask. A friend of mine works as a nurse in a Covid unit and says this is how many of her patients get sick – at work in smaller offices/companies where people aren’t wearing masks. I had read the local paper, Alpine Avalanche, appalled at the lack of information on the impact of Covid on the health of the community in their 2020 wrap up. It was all about the awful restrictions being imposed. So I guess I’m not surprised when people who live here don’t take it seriously.
