7:55 am crowded parking lot with people waiting to get in. 8:00am shopped for two items and out of stock on both of them. Store was a mess.

The store was clean and fully stocked! Which is the best DG store I’ve seen lately. However after I selected my items and went to the register. There was a customer in front of me but there was no cashier at the register. We looked around and stood there for over 4 minutes and no one came. So, becoming impatient, I yelled for some help at the register and the cashier yelled back from the office, that she would be right there. Two more min. Past before she finally came out to help us. Anyone could have just taken some merchandise and ran out with it, luckily that didn’t happen. As a former manager of a retail store, I found this unacceptable, to leave the register and the front door unattended. But the store itself is a great store over all!
