Kathy was very nice and knowledgable as well as the other staff! Before we went I was looking online for the cost, and couldn’t find one because there is No fee to enter but they do accept donations. They had animals and fun activities for the kids. It was a great place to visit!

Great little gem of a museum in the heart of Abilene. Exhibits are free, but a donation is recommended. Great place to spend an afternoon and learn about the Titanic (did you know they guy who found it lived in Abilene?), Israel, The Ark and so much more. They have a few animals that are hands on and a cool mini sandbox for the kids. They also have a summer camp that my son loved. They even had the kids ‘dig’ for fossils. They offer so much information, you won’t have time to do everything. It’s a great way to keep the kids entertained without all the money. Bonus fact: they have a Woolly Mammoth tooth, you’ll have to check out. Be prepared, you will have to plan multiple trips!

A random Wednesday outing lead us to this place and it was an awesome experience for my boys and my niece! I highly recommend going there, a sweet lady, Marsha, was very informative and kept my kids intrigued! They talked about Discovery Center all the way home! So many things they enjoyed about this museum. We had an enjoyable afternoon!
