An absolute breath of fresh air. Like most of the shops around the area, this one is owned by an Asian man and located in the worst side of town. What I do appreciate is that they have hired a black woman to help customers. Let’s face it- we, black women, are the ones who keep these places in business. And representation matters. There is no restriction on wig trying, and I ended up buying several wigs. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but you are paying for the convenience of walking out of the door with what you need. Service was exceptional, both from the owner and the staff. Totally different from what I experienced at a similar store in Baytown. I have shopped here (and a couple of other Beaumont beauty supply stores) for over 10 years, but hadn’t recently visited until today. I’m sticking with what I know. No more Baytown stores for me. Thank you!
