When I lived in San Angelo in a nursing home and in a wheelchair, Raw was the first place I went at my first taste of freedom in over a year. They were so, so kind and always were happy to see me. My life was a medical disaster but I could always feel like myself at Raw. My daughter always spends part of her Christmas vacation with me. She’s a big city girl having been raised Dallas and now living in Manhattan. I’m a big city girl too. Both of us were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the space, the atmosphere, and the kindness of the owners and their staff. Not your usual San Angelo experience. I was so happy that Raw survived 2020. They played a significant part in my surviving the toughest challenges of my life. Wish they were up here. Who knows. Maybe, I’ll come back for a visit.

The atmosphere is incredible and the entire staff is phenomenal. The art is beautiful. Food & drinks are amazing. This is such a special spot in San Angelo!
