A local gem of a garden store. Great selection with good variety of plants. Plus they have neat pots and yard decor.

Unfortunately, we had about the worst experience here possible. Not only were we treated dismissively by a staff member, but he damaged our property!! We brought in our beautiful Haworthia succulent that my husband and I have nurtured for over 5 years, and now has many little offshoots. We were trying to ask someone who worked there about replanting, and the type of potting soil to buy. The staff member who helped us was a young guy who literally couldn’t sit still long enough to listen to our query, and then once he did manage to give us his full attention, he began mangling our plant!! He was trying to show us where we could make cuttings – fine. But he was so rough that he literally broke several of the arms on our succulent. We stood there in shock as he crushed it, and when he had exhausted his two minutes of time for us, we quickly left the property. Enough damage had been done! We went to Calloway’s which was lovely.I must say as an addendum that I’ve been reading through the reviews for this place, and let it be a telling sign that anytime a negative review is posted, the owner gets extremely defensive! I feel that this is indicative of the type of service you can expect to receive at this place. We should have taken it as a bad sign that when we arrived at the store, a staff member was arguing with a customer loudly out front. Who was right? Nobody knows – but just saying..watch this space…

There were so many beautiful and healthy plans of different sizes and varieties. I really appreciated how everything was organized for a beginner plant enthusiast like me as I can’t yet identify the plants myself. They are student-budget friendly.

Really appreciated how they my wife feel like a true customer. They were kindly to her and even gave tips on how to take care of her new plants. There are some nurseries in town that will rush you out the door if you aren’t fitting the profile of that they think an ideal customer is. Plants should be available to everyone. Customer Service aside, this nursery is well maintained and has an easy to navigate layout. Their Instagram page is regularly updated and you can get an idea of when to expect rare plants as well.
