Had to get some boots for work, the folks in the store were super friendly and helpful! Definitely recommended! Review Edit: I had to return for a boot that felt a “little off” no questions asked they took excellent care of the issue!

We went in to turn in a work voucher for work boots. They helped us right away. Staff was very friendly, very good service. They also sell work shirts, jackets, and even socks. I would recommend this store if you are looking for a good pair of steel toe work boots.

As a previous employee for this store in the Lubbock location 2149 50th St A.It was so terrible working here with such rude and unprofessional management by the owner Alan. He fired me due to wearing a plain black shirt. On the day of my interview with he mentioned the dress code which was jeans and collared shirts/shirts that covered up the chest area and NO t-Shirts. Now Mr. Alan knew my financial situation wasn’t at its best but I still managed to buy bottoms just for this job that cost a bit of a penny out of MY pocket, Since it’s really hard for me to find bottoms that fit me just right. And I go in one day with a plain black shirt he decided to give me an attitude that my shirt was a T-shirt and the second I responded to him to explain that it was just a plain black shirt and reminded him what he said the dress code was during the interview I had with him before my first day and he assumed I was just arguing with him and just didn’t want to communicate the right was with his employee and instead just fired me on the spot not even letting me get a chance to atleast go home and change he just sends me and ask to not come back. Now this past 03/26/2021 on Friday I went back to the store to pick up my check and he denied to give me my pay. This man is just very unprofessional. Since my work of day there I’ve witnessed Mr. Alan have many arguments with customers who he just did not want to cooperate with and had many arguments with his personal situations. I guess since he’s the owner and if he has a bad day he just fires people not caring about their situation and since he’s the owner it doesn’t matter if people claim to him since there’s no one above him to deal with those complaints. Just for those who just may want to think twice before applying for this jobAlso I have a clear video of mr Alan saying he clearly did not have a check AT ALL for me. And no one addressed anything to me because that was the first time I wore a shirt that was not collared. It’s sad that I had to get a lawyer involved just to get my check with writing on it saying that “I Quit” couldn’t even be honest (This goes for the response to the other employee who responded to this review) (Not Even the actual owner could respond to I guess) so Good-luck with finding More Employees I heard you’re desperately searching for more on indeed.
