Great service. Great staff. Great sandwiches! Ordered the roast beef with Mozzarella. Its was really good and the nice lady added in a piece of eggplant in there that really set it off with the gravy.As I took the first bite of the sandwich today. My mind got taken back in time to days of old brooklyn only to realize how bad some of the other sandwich shops in Manhattan are.

Come on, do I even have to leave a review? If you know Defontes, then you’ve had Defontes, and if you’ve had Defontes then you know it’s the absolute best sandwich shop ever. You simply can not go wrong.

It was quite strange. Ordered eggs with cheese and peppers. Must have used a dozen eggs which kind of made me gag. Hubby got a sandwich which was enough for the entire family. Would try again for a different sandwich. Not an A+ experience
