My grandfather spent the last week and a half of his life in this hospital before passing away from covid. The staff members have so much patience and compassion and are just absolute heroes. My family and I all live in Canada, so all the communication we had with my grandpa (since it was too difficult for him to talk) in his last days was all thanks to the staff here, and I can never thank them enough.They gave multiple family members daily updates, answered questions patiently, explained things thoroughly, and did their best to make sure my grandpa was comfortable and even did things like play specific TV shows and music for him that we recommended.I messaged the hospital on Facebook, and long story short, they immediately printed out a 6 page letter I had written for my grandpa, and voluntarily had a nurse video call me the same day, who then read my letter out loud to my grandpa on the call. The staff also received paper mail and a food delivery from my family and made sure it got to him immediately. He was unconscious by the time his paper mail arrived, but another nurse still read them out loud to him and let us talk to him via FaceTime audio in case he could still hear.After he passed away, the chaplain called from his personal cell from the morgue so that my parents could recite their own prayer over his body. They also mailed his belongings to us in Canada immediately.The genuine kindness and effort from the staff at this hospital warms my broken heart to this day, and I’m so grateful for all that they did, which is truly priceless. It really made a difference for me and my family in one of the most difficult times of our lives.Thank you!

Horrible horrible I cannot stress enough how horrible the nurses are in getting you help and being able to talk to a patient who is in ICU. Called multiple numbers that they gave me was transferred to multiple parts of the hospital and I was not able to get in contact with the patient Suzanne apparently got frustrated and started making comments and for some reason at first she said she couldn’t find a patient and then after I called for the 1000th time she was like oh I see the patient and she told me she didn’t have the number to the fourth floor to call back again called back again And she transferred me over didn’t even give me the number she was transferring me over nobody answered until right now I am still not been able to get in contact with the patient that is admitted at this hospital would definitely not recommend if you want to stay in contact with your loved ones while they are admitted.

My wife had her baby here. The nurses did excellent. They was caring and helpful. The hospital was clean. The only thing that could have been better was her mom being there. That was not their fault though with covid.
