Tom Thumb on Collins Street in Arlington has everything your heart desires. We came to this location because it actually carried Cleaning Vinegar, which other stores did not. While meandering around the store we saw plenty if products that caught our eye and stomach’s eye. We especially were intrigued by the baked pastries and frozen pastries.

Store manager was very unprofessional and instead of helping he assumed and treated me as if I was lying about a previous sale that over charged me by 5 dollars.When I came in and asked for the difference was told that sale never existed and insinuating I was lying instead of looking at the previous sale page.I live within less then a mile from there and shop there almost every other day.I’m a budget shopper as well as watch the sales for deals too good to be true do to the fact they put things on sale to clear the shelf’s of product that doesn’t sale.So instead of treating my situation and concern’s of being over charged by $5 and looking into to it he insisted that the sale didn’t exist.It was a buy one get the second half off.I bought the items because of that sale alone and instead of looking at the previous sale he walked me out the store insinuating I was lying and told me never to return to his store.This was the store manager Tommy RossThis situation and they way he handled the situation was very unprofessional and down right appalling considering it was easier to claim something he didn’t even look into and discriminating against me as if I’m lying about a sale that overcharged me $5.This economy $5 is taking from my families dinner table that I spend at least $250 a week at this very store.Instead of listening and looking for anything that would show what the previous sale was he spoke in a unpleasant attitude stating that that sale never existed and said it’s always been buy 2 get one half off.So to end this I got upset at the way he not only treated me with discrimination as if I was a their and lier he walked me out of the store and told me I could never return to His store.His name again Tommy Ross and be weary of him because he may just discriminate against you and this neighborhood that is of ethnic diversity.This happened on 04/14/2021 a few days after I came in to inform them I was overcharged hey it happens the system sometimes misses these things.I came in few days after due to kidney problems so I came in to get treated very horrible by the store manager.He came up and seemed upset for some reason before we even spoke his body language, posture and tone was already in a negative attitude and got worse when I tried to explain to him and then ask him just to check the previous sale’s page he refused and was belittling as if there’s not a possible chance their system over charged and didn’t register the sale or even look.Not one effort made to see if I could be right instead he chose to belittle and insinuate I was lying.
