Bumbera’s Performance is a family owned and operated automotive shop that has been in business since 1992. Over the years Bumbera’s has expanded from classic car restoration and restomods into late model high performance upgrades and even offroad and truck accessories. Bumbera’s new facility near Sealy, TX is state-of-the-art complete with 10 lifts, an alignment machine, two fabrication areas, and a dyno room that houses one of the most accurate dyno machines in the Houston area. The bottom line is if it has 4 wheels then we can make it Bad Fast!

Bumbera’s had our ’84 C10 for ten weeks and all we received was empty promises, terrible/non-existent customer service, and disrespect. When we dropped it off for minor clearance issues of the oil pan, we were told they would evaluate what needed to be done and Sean would call us with an estimate within one week. Two weeks passed with no phone call. When we called, we were told they had not had a chance to look but would, and we would receive a call from Sean within the next week. Still nothing. Week four was Hurricane Laura, we had to call and request our truck be moved inside and my wife was spoken to with complete disrespect by another staff member. By the way, we were also told the truck would be moved inside after we dropped it off due to the engine being only covered with a tarp. During that call, the owner got on the phone with me and mistook me for three other customers before asking which vehicle was ours! Week ten (Friday), still no incoming phone call from Bumbera to us in any way. We drove up there to pick it up with a trailer. Upon asking for it, we were told that it would take a minute to get to it and it would probably be Monday before they could get it out. We insisted we were picking it up right then, and they needed to get it for us. Within five minutes, the truck was being pushed out to the parking lot which only tells me it was not being stored inside like we were promised. The keys were in the ignition and the staff members walked away without another word. We loaded the truck ourselves after ten weeks of empty promises and a lot of frustration. If you don’t mind waiting forever, being treated poorly, and being profiled or looked down upon for not wanting to spend upwards of $15K, then Bumbera’s is your place. If you want good customer service with a smile and respect, LOOK ELSEWHERE.
