I was shopping a sale and they didn’t have any of the stuff that was on sale. I can understand maybe a few things they might have run out of but all? That’s just straight bad management. So I tried to get a rain check for the things I wanted but the manager was on the phone for the better part of an hour dealing with another customer issue. When asked about the rain check he said he would. So I went to go check out and he was no where to be found. The young man at checkout was rushing me out the door when I started asking him if I got the discounts that were in the paper because I didn’t see them pull up on the screen. He replied Yea Yea you got all the discounts. He was in a rush because the store had just closed and he ‘had to go get some stuff done. So he was in no customer service mindset and was really just placating me so I would just go. I went to pay and they’re touchless pay terminal wouldn’t work! So after what seemed like 15 trys at it I finally gave up and went to the car where my wallet was and paid another card. It was a totally frustrating experience. I usually go to the ACE Hardware in Princeton and have never had any issues there. I’ll never go to the McKinney location again. I’ll stick to the Princeton location where they actually take the TIME to handle their customers the right way.
