I’ve been an Aaron’s customer at this location for many years. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had setting up my lease purchase. Jan, a sales associate who handled my purchase of 2 flat screen televisions informed me delivery would be over a week. Instead, I had to arrange for a friend with a truck to take me for in u store pick up. Once I arrived, Jan, my sales associate gave me a used television saying, it had only been used for store display. It wasn’t packaged in a box, came with no instructions, no HDMI cable and without a remote. Once I got the televisions home and setup, which I was forced to do myself, I noticed the smaller and used television was warped and wouldn’t sit level on a TV stand. I called Jan for a replacement set. Despite having just completed the application process and providing my current address and information, Jan sent my delivery to my previous address. In addition to my purchase of the TVs, I also added a pre-leased TV stand for the larger television. I wasn’t prepared for a stand with many visible scratches, missing knobs and areas of chipped or peeling paint. Jan only discounted the lease price of the item by $3.00 monthly. If not for any other options to place the television, I certainly wouldn’t have taken this stand at almost full price. Jan’s disposition seemed as she despised her job and helping a customer was the last thing she would have chosen as employment. Overall, my experience with this Aaron’s location had been satisfactory until this purchase. In my opinion, the associate, Jan who handled my purchase was unprofessional, unknowledgeable and did not come close to providing a good customer experience.
