This home is such a beautiful piece of our small town’s history. Unfortunately, right now they are closed to COVID. I applaud them for taking COVID seriously, and not allowing tours at this time. When the open back up, it is definitely a must tour spot in our beautiful town. I have many memories of tours, weddings, luncheons, and other events at the Mansion. Even though you cannot go in, it is worth a visit to see from the outside.

I was the only person at the mansion when I arrived, so I basically had a private tour. I was guided on the bottom floor, but the second floor was self-guided. The only thing that could improve the experience would be a pamphlet with printed information, because I can’t remember everything they told me. I enjoyed the visit very much! Beautiful mansion with lots of history.
