The gentleman who served us was super nice. The address in Google says 3rd street, but its actually 3rd Avenue. The end of the street close to the rail tracks takes you into the rental parking lot. We were the first to arrive on that day, around 7 am. Contrary to what we read online, there was no queue, and there were lots of cars in the lot. The rental here is very expensive, but you can get cheaper rates online.

When we were there in May, we got charged twice on our CC, couldn’t get in touch with them to address the issue and had to go through our CC to get one of the charges dropped. We even tried to call AVIS corporate, and they couldn’t even find our rental in their computers.Also, the total they charged us was a few cents more than what it showed on our receipt, and although I also brought that up with the CC company, that was never resolved. So if they charge a few cents more per customer every day, they are scamming people out of more money than they should be getting, probably hoping people won’t complain about a few cents.Keep copies of your receipts until your charge has hard posted to your account and they haven’t tried to double bill you or charge you more.

Great staff, easy walk from the cruise ship piers. However, your rental might take a few minutes to find because nothing is marked. We ended up using the clicker several times as we walked up and down till we saw the car lights came on.
