Ordering through Lowe’s has been the worst experience of my life! I had a custom order for an 18” dishwasher through Home Depot but when it said it would be delayed I shopped around and found a product at Lowe’s that would fulfill all my needs. On 25 April the sales associate in Lowe’s appliance section assured me the product would be in by 3 May and that I would be able to pickup 5 May. With this knowledge I canceled my order through Home Depot (huge mistake). It is now 21 May and I still do not have the product. Lowe’s has never once reached out to me once it was past it’s supposed arrival date and I have been calling every other day asking for updates. All they can say is it was shipped out 26 April. I repeatedly been told it should be in in a couple of days or try next week but it has been 16 days past the expected delivery date and apparently Lowe’s can’t track a $1500 purchase. When I’ve asked to speak to a manager the store literally hung up on me, it’s extremely frustrating and not good business. I’ve always been a fan of Lowe’s but will no longer recommend them to anyone. I ship overseas at the end of the month and the one item is literally delaying me being able to list my house for sale. They have me in a hard place because I canceled my other order through Home Depot under the assumption Lowe’s would keep their word, clearly the eggs on my face!

Was in there last week for a Gatco mirror, item # 760310. Employee said 7 were in stock, but nobody could locate them. I left my # for somebody to call me back once located. No phone call was returned. So I went back in person, explained the situation and looked again. Still nobody could locate them. Was told maybe they are in the back, so I left my number again. No phone call again. Went back a third time and they still could not locate them. So I called the store in Anchorage where they had them in stock. I asked if 2 could be transferred to Fairbanks. I was told Lowes in Fairbanks would have to request them. So I called Lowes and was told a manger said they won’t request them. Called the store in Anchorage back to have them shipped. Once the mirrors where delivered I was charged $198.99 I shipping charges. Never again. Worst customer service.
