The management staff is awful. The manager Dan just checks you in to wait for an ambiguous amount of time which ends up being hours instead of just helping you or doing anything himself or even just assisting you with making an appointment for another day when they’re properly staffed. I don’t know how they even stay in business with next to no staff working and the poor sales people are obviously overworked although still very helpful compared to the managers who seem to do nothing. Verizon used to be a good company to do business with, not anymore.

Great people to deal with at the store..

Last evening we took my mother in law into the store. She wanted to do her business in person. She insisted, she is 84. It takes for quite a while to get in-and-out of a car as she uses a walker and is not agile at all. It took 10 minutes to get out of the car in front of the store and in the door. We were greeted by a very sweet, conscientious 1st person who put us in line to see someone. We waited about 10 minutes which was fine because we did not realise we had to make an appointment. We where then greeted by a young man name Zack M.He ask for a picture ID. She produced her driver’s licence. He looked at it said it is expired he can’t take it. My husband said, you can tell that this woman sitting on her walker is the one on this driver’s licence can’t you? He said, It doesn’t matter it is expired. She opened her wallet to give him further ID and he continued to say he needed another photo ID or he could not deal with her. My husband asked to speak with the manager. He replied, I am the manager. My husband said, Come on don’t be stupid, You can’t help her out? No, he said, and you can leave the store now! (My husband was getting very frustrated, rightfully so.) I said, so we can get on my phone, call customer service, give them all the information they need to fix this problem, but we cannot do it with you in person because of her expired licence? He said, yes! Then, to add insult to injury, he suggested she go to the DMV and get a valid ID! At this point, she was a lump on top of her walker. It was ridiculous. There has to be a way that elderly people can get service in person if need be. She needed a repair as well! It it felt like elder abuse. The funny thing is afterward, we ran into a friend who was a police officer. He said her licence is still a valid document for ID purposes, expired or not. Shame on you Zach M! and shame on you Verizon!UPDATE 4.21.2021As asked by the owner I emailed them at the address listed. Not a word from anyone. Again, shame on you Verizon! Or should I say Pittsford Verzion. Follows suit with the original problem.
