This experience was not a pleasant one. I am not one to complain usually, and I didn’t make a scene because that’s just not me. However, I feel a bit taken advantage of in this particular visit. I needed some edible images for a cake and I don’t know if the employee was new or didn’t understand me, but I way over-paid for her misunderstanding. I needed 2 copies of the same image. She showed me the image to ask how big I needed it, I specifically told her THE FIRST TIME that I needed the entire sheet printed. I did not get that. She charged me for the sheet anyway. I didn’t make a fuss I just told her I needed the entire sheet, she adjusted the image and when I asked if I was going to need to pay for another sheet she said I would have to. Then she tried to make me think it was my mistake for not being clear about the image, again, I did not make a big deal. I just agreed and let it go. As she prints out the other sheet the printer runs out of ink and my image did not get fully printed. They STILL CHARGED ME for it anyway and did not even offer to reprint a better copy. These sheets are $10 a page. They are way too expensive to begin with but then they don’t even bother to fix their error. I was really upset and disappointed, I probably will not return for awhile. If you can find your items cheaper online, I suggest you do it.

The one place I know will always have what I need – and I’m an adventurous baker! I love this place, all the folks who work there, and the owner.I’ve also taken a few classes there and have learned *so much*.I recommend this store to anyone who bakes – whether they’re just making cookies for Christmas, curious about getting into baking for business, or if they’re experts conquering the world. Bake a Cake has something for everyone.

We came 20 minutes before closing and they locked the doors early and didn’t let us purchase :/… it was for Mother’s Day and sundays are closed so that was really upsetting :/
