Academy Sports + Outdoors has updated store hours to allow for intensive cleaning. We feel it is important to stay open to serve our customers during this challenging time and are working to do that as safely as possible. Our new hours are Monday-Saturday: 10am CST to 7pm CST, and Sundays 11am CST to 7pm CST. Select stores open for curbside pickup only. Check the Academy website for more details.

Academy is always a great place to shop. The fishing section is top notch! Not only do they have a lot of stock but are honest with you on what you need. That is hard to find!!

Very helpful team members in the fishing department, certainly walked through advantages of setups and different rod and reel combos that suited us best. Switching from fresh to salt and wanted some extra advice! ( Tiffany for the lady or the man anyone lol)

The store is huge, with plenty of aisle space, and a greeter at the door. A young shoe salesman was very helpful, and I appreciate the personal service. My usual Academy on 59 at Shepherd now seems cramped and, well, shabby. Access from 45 going South is problematic.
