The Central Market in San Antonio is a beautiful store. The building used to be an regular HEB. If you are like most shoppers you are first greeted with fresh produce nested on towers of shaved ice. After you wind your way through an unmatched selection of colorful fruits and vegetables you will arrive in the meat department. Then the regular grocery area and wine. Followed by the bakery and deli areas. If you run across one of the Central Markets, stop for shopping experience you won’t forget
As unique as The spelling of my name
Central market is my go to spot for most unique things. Even though Covid has affected everything, CM has gracefully handled it and you can tell they try really hard to keep the standard exemplary. I miss some of my favorites but if it can come back I believe CM will provide eventually.

Love their chefs case with fresh foods daily -very microwave friendly. Not too fond of the bakery though… Nice selection however, all their cakes taste the same. Love it out of convenience.
