Friendly and helpful people. This is the second time I have used Uvalde Meats for deer processing. Awesome ground venison, jalapeño cheese links, and spicy pan sausage. Outstanding customer service from dropping off the deer to the delivery of the venison to my door in Southern Virginia. Big plus they work with local taxidermists. Hope to be a regular customer every deer season.

Our product was processed under inspection and labeled for resale. When we received our product, there were unsealed packages, holes in packages, and hair. The hair was in a lot of the product and abundant at that. The ground meat we also received had gristle, connective tissues, and silver skin. The ground meat was poor quality and received numerous complaints from our customers. This was our first harvest with Uvalde Meat. After asking for this to be addressed numerous times with Pat (owner) he reassured us this wouldn’t happen again. We butchered two additional animals and endured the same issues. I reached out to Pat and Karen (marketing executive; Pat’s daughter) multiple times to address the 500 pounds of unsellable product we received. After calls, texts, and emails to Pat and Karen they quit responding when we asked to be reimbursed. Giving 2 stars because they were able to help us in a time of need, but then gave us terrible quality and when we asked for a resolution they terminated all communication.
