A great Texas barber shop.Let me explain what that means. A place to get your haircut correctly the first time.. There are no new inventions going on here…. and its not necessary. Business Professionals, political figures, notible residents and families looking for that first haircut for the little guy all go here. And they have been going here for years and their families. If your hair becomes self cutting later in life you still may want to go catch up with James.James is the type of barber that makes everyone feel welcome. That’s how it is in Texas and I don’t care who you are. There is a picture on the wall above a shoe shine chair in the corner. A former friend that worked with the barber shop for many years….when folks still needed to get their shoes shiny. This place has been here for decades.Plano Barbers should be on a national register for historic places….. or at least Plano. Not sure how that all works anyway or if it is important.Conversation centers around what you care about and what working men care about…. and some retirees. If you care about the latest news with the Dallas Cowboys, local and national business issues…. this guy talks to everyone and knows what’s going on…. even stuff you don’t care about.A couple more things about this place on the map…it is near lots of great food places … i always make a lunch break when I plan a visit. Great Fish place, pizza and German food nearby and more. This is a great location in downtown Plano! Not that you need advice on where to get things done around town but if you just ask James he probably knows a reliable person to get the job done.I am not writing any review to tell people to steer clear of anyone…. not what Texans do …but I can tell you where you’re welcome, where it’s friendly and where you may get more than just a haircut. How about a little conversation and destination location instead.

James is a staple to downtown Plano and has been cutting hair and sharing insight to the city for years. He is a great community friend

James is a top notch barber, and takes his time to make sure your cut is spot on. I’m very glad to know he’s there when I need a good cut. Nothing worse than a terrible hair cut
