I have been a New Braunfels Smokehouse customer for YEARS. I love what I have gotten from them. However, a month ago, right before the storm in Texas, they charged our credit card for an order we placed and paid for in December. They claimed (a week later, due to the storm) that this was a mistake caused by a system upgrade (recharged the next to last (expensive), not the last (not as expensive) order). Then, though they claimed they would refund our money, they have not. And, they are not reaching out to me nor to my credit card company to help. I will no longer be shopping with them. It makes me sad, but their complete lack of response has made this, and posting my experience, my only recourse. My credit card company has made it right with me, and did so in record time. I am betting I am not the only one impacted by this.

I work here & I am a happy employee. Also I must say every product here is great. The way they smoke the meats is fantazmil and worth every dime. Love it!

Placed an online order on 12/7 and was charged at that time. On 2/14 I noticed my debit card had been charged that same amount again. I contacted NBS customer service and they said there was a glitch in their system that reprocessed all orders from 12/7 and that I should see my money refunded in 1-2 business days. It is four days later. No refund is showing on my bank account and New Braunfels customer service number is now disconnected.I have ordered from this company before and have never had a problem; However, this has caused them to lose a customer.
