Excellent place. Found an amazing car, was treated very nicely, they even worked with me on the price. I definitely recommend to anybody looking for a cheap used car.

Purchased a 1996 Honda Accord from them. Car was advertised as having no AC, but otherwise no leaks or mechanical issues, and a clean titleSpoke with Derek. I asked if a warranty was available, but he said there was not. I’d had good luck in the past with a 1991 Accord I had previously owned, so I decided to chance it and purchased the car. Big mistake. The car seemed okay at first, but wanting to be careful, I went ahead and took it to a trusted mechanic in town, J&M automotive. What they found was devastating: The rear beam of the subframe was cracked and seriously bent, and the front beam was bent as well, along with the control arms. Both the sway bar links were gone, and the right side CV axle boot was torn, and the left side ball joint is almost gone. Both the bellows for the rack and pinion were torn as well, so the car was leaking axle grease and power steering fluid. The distributor was also leaking oil.Wanting to be sure, I took it to a second mechanic, Strand’s garage. They found all the same problems, and in addition also found serious rust in the frame bulkheads that the subframe is bolted to. This would make removing the subframe likely to tear the frame member it was attached to, making the damage even worse. Both mechanic shops said that the car had obviously been in a major collision and totaled, and should not have been sold with a clean title.Called the shop and spoke with Derek, let him know about this. He said they couldn’t help. Later, owner offered to repair the damage, however, when I called to bring the car in, Derek told me I couldn’t drop the car off, but had to be there exactly at an appointment time. I work full time, so this was basically impossible.I’ve never heard of a shop that doesn’t let you drop the car off. Most shops *insist* that you do so. I called back several more times to try to talk to the owner, but always got Derek, who said the owner wasn’t available. I suspect he never even told the owner that I called. This car should never have been sold, to anyone. It belongs in a junkyard, rather than with anyone behind the wheel. This has been the worst car-buying experience of my life.TLDR: This shop sold me a totaled car. Their sales rep did not disclose anything about the damage, and actively blocked me from speaking to the owner again about getting the car repaired or exchanged/refunded. I don’t recommend that anyone buy a car here.
