My son and I stopped by for the first time and it was well worth the visit. The staff was welcoming and regularly checked to see if we needed any help with any of their products. The shop carries a great assortment of the outdoor products we are all familiar with, great brands and high quality gear. The staff delivered great customer service. Overall we had an excellent experience. The fly fishing shop is well stocked and you can find everything from a tiny mosquito fly to a complete fly fishing setup, including a guided fishing service if needed. The pro fishing guide offered great advice and answered all of our questions. He was very helpful and not only to us but most importantly to another customer who was new to fly fishing and was asking questions about the equipment needed to get started in fly fishing. The guide asked the right questions and provided the best advice ever. Knowledge is power and the guide was sharing his knowledge before anything else. Great job! If you are visiting the Guadalupe River region make sure you stop by Gruene Outfitters.
