Fun place to stretch legs & let kids run. Lots of parking & playground equipment. Modern bathrooms & some picnic shelters.Saw some butterflies including a tiger swallowtail which I haven’t seen in the Lower 48.

Peaceful walk along the river. Trails are not well indicated however and it is easy to get temporarily lost and find yourself coming back on your steps. It is nice to walk on the river bed when water level is low.

Nice open field for frisbee, football or whatever. 4 pavilions for rent for special occasions with charcoal grills for use. Also has an all dirt, bicycle park down below, A jungle gym for the younger kids, spots for RV camping with hookups and a public use bathroom.
