A heritage of quality food, catches on quick. We are H Mart, short for Han Ah Reum, which just happens to mean One Arm Full of Groceries. We’re an Asian-inspired supermarket started in 1982 in Queens, New York. Despite our small beginnings, we have grown because of our continuous commitment to the freshest ingredients in all our offerings-while never forgetting that value is just as important. We hope our culture brings you new inspiration and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Great place to shop for authentic Korean food and snacks and houseware you can’t find anywhere else… Parking available on site.

Tons of variety of food and beverages, great go to spot for regular grocery shopping or occasion. Ample amount of parking for a busy area and access to other near by stores as well. Definitely recommend.

The employees who work here are always working hard. But sometimes I get hurt by the disappointment of some of the staff. It’s a lack of basic human courtesy and behavior. I’d love to understand it because it’s a job that deals with many different situations and many guests, but meeting a non-basic employee is not easy in many ways. If you are suspicious of the bad side by someone without doing anything wrong, you feel bad or hurt. But if the employee apologizes for the misunderstanding, everything is healed. However, without saying a word of sorry, the staff is rather confident. There are employees like this here. It’s disappointing and I feel very bad. Is it one person’s fault? Or is it h-mart’s fault for hiring this person?
