Checking in early on the online portal seems like a solid plan; however, after (still) waiting in a parking lot for 3 hours only to receive a text message that they were ready for us to come in and wait an additional hour + (we are still here) in the lobby is ridiculous. We were perfectly content (& would rather be) waiting in the vehicle. The lady at the front desk was nothing less than rude and unhelpful. She continued to tell patients, Just 2-5 more minutes, only for us to continue waiting for hours. When we first arrived, and checked in, we were told it would be 1 hour and there were 8 people ahead of us. This was at 8:45,and the clinic did not open until 9. There were 2 cars in the parking lot, and they drove away at 9:05 leaving nobody but the employees inside; however, there were still 8 people in front of us. Please explain how any of that makes sense. I get checking in through a portal, but see the patients that are there first. I am currently still waiting (in the lobby) with my 8 year old daughter (very sick), and I am on immunosuppressant medications. So, this is less than ideal.

Sat in my car for over 2 and a half hours. Very frustrating. Spoke to someone on the phone over an hour ago saying we were next in line and of course now nobody is answering and never received a text to come in. We will never come back and don’t recommend this place to anybody.

Stopped in on Monday bc, after trying for several hours, we couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. I was actually calling when my wife walked in. She could hear it ringing and No one was even attempting to answer it. The receptionist was playing on her cell phone. We needed a covid test for our daughter bc she had been exposed to a student at EHS who tested positive and the school was going to quarantine her. The staff said if we come first thing the next emorning we wouldn’t have to wait. Got there bf they opened Tuesday and were second in the door. After 3hrs waiting, and them calling back averyone who came in behind us, we were finally seen. The test took 10 minutes. Terrible service. Rude receptionist. Don’t give a hang about patients. We’ll not go back. Do yourself a favor, drive the 45 miles to Dothan.. Plenty of doctors and urgent care services there that provide quality, pofessional care bc they have to compete for your business. This place has no competition, so they don’t care about service or keeping their word. Eufaula s health care is, unfortunately in crisis. The hospital is just as bad or worse. Oh and don’t pay any attention to the staffs responses about lines around the building, maybe months ago that was the case, but not now and the service is still awful. It seems that covid has now become everyone’s excuse for not doing there job.
