The old fat bald White guy and the mean Asian hag woman who runs the store are petty and rude. So spiteful! They get REALLY mad at basic questions and will power-trip every chance they get. You can almost guess what’s going wrong in their personal lives because they’ll project it onto you.Walk 30 seconds to CVS or 7-Eleven. They have more stuff at lower prices and it’s not hostile to be in there. The 7-Eleven might get robbed, but the armed robber will still be nicer and more helpful than the clowns over at Walgreens.Imagine power-tripping on minimum wage lmao

This is a dangerous pharmacy. The pharmacist is an overly burdened Asian lady who takes offense at anyone asking questions, whether it is side affects, or billing issues. A more recent example of this is her decision to arbitrarily transfer my medication without my knowledge or consent to the San Jose store which is more than 17 miles away, and when I was down to almost the last dose of my drug. She didn’t want to be bothered with expensive drugs, or insurance issues so she transferred the medication to her Specialty Pharmacy.Walgreen’s corporate policy allows any Walgreen’s drug to fill a prescription, including those that are filled at Walgreen’s pharmacy. This same drug was filled twice as a 90 day supply at Middlefield, but because insurance decided to only pay for 6 she decided to transfer it out. HOwever, there are no payment issues. Best to avoid this pharmacy.

Expectations when walking into a Walgreens store a generally low, even lower if you live in San Francisco. Coming into this Palo Alto store on Middlefield Rd feels – compared to the ones I’m used to – like walking into a clean and bright oasis. This store is surprisingly well organized, clutter-free (as much as you can say that about a Walgreens), and somewhat spacious.Sure, the employee vs customer ratio (2:20) could be improved, but thanks to the layout of the store you’ll find everything you need probably without asking for help.
