Beautiful bakery/coffee shop. Pastrys are in house made and fresh! They’re not sweet and not bitter, they’re just right. Their lattes are amazing and they have a beautiful patio secret garden in the back that you can explore and sit at. When I’m in town, i always come here.

I’ve driven by this bakery a few times before but never looked into checking this place out! Captain Stoker is my favorite coffee place in the area and I know there are plenty of mediocre coffee and bakeries nearby as well.Alta has a long line eventhough I arrived close to 9am. Entered into the shop close to 30 minutes later. The shop has a cool and clean decor and vibe. They nicely display the nice selection of high quality treats. You order the pastries first and later order the coffee drinks. Very friendly service. Social distancing.Whiff of fresh baked pastries in the air mixed with flavors of coffee. There is limited seating inside but a really nice outside garden in the back that’s rustic.Espresso- good and strongGolden milk latte- too medicinal turmeric tasting for me!I ordered the yummy banana bread and 3 cookies. The carrot cake cookie w/ cream cheese flavor in the middle is to die for!!! Get it!!!!Sat outside and really enjoyed the vibe, the pastries and drinks.I heard they have really good avocado toast but I’m not really a avocado toast type of guy? I will come back to try other yummy pastries when I’m back in town. They sold out of the breakfast burrito, so, I definitely will be back!
