I called ahead to ask if they had fresh clams. They guy said yes over the phone only to tell me that they never had them. Annoyed, I instead bought a dozen sandworms and when I got out and to the fishing spot, I opened the worms and they were half dad and so small that you could not get them on the hook. It was my first time going in and my last time.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem of a place one evening after work. I was looking for a spot to fish and Mr. Derick recommended bait and a location. With one dozen of bloodworms I caught 29 Porgies. I returned to the shop after fishing and within 20 mins he scaled all 29 for me. Highly recommend this place for your one stop all fishing needs. Cool, down to earth, easy going, helpful, friendly and gives great advice. Whatever your fishing needs are I guarantee that they will help you.

Really great place. Black-owned shop and the owner was super nice and friendly, which I appreciated as a black dude who’s new to fishing. I got hooked up with some great bloodworms for bait. They were huge! And apart from catching my first ever fish, I got bites on everything I put out. Another great thing about the store is that they offer minor repairs for your bike, so if you’re biking down there know that this store has a pump and stuff if you get a flat.
