Totally underrated.My in laws shy away from this place because they think nugget is the only place to get fresh food.I honestly have loved shopping here during the pandemic, I find the food fresh and the variety or keto, vegan and vegetarian options excellent.But more over it’s generally a quiet peaceful shopping experience.They also do have beautiful house plants on occasion!What I wanted to give them the biggest props for was the fact they’re the only supermarket I’ve seen in davis that is still cleaning the self service check outs in between guests. I was pleasantly surprised when a staff member jumped in to clean before I walked up. As far as Covid safe shopping this has become my favorite spot. The staff are always masked and I don’t believe I’ve seen any masks on chins here! – perhaps I’ve been lucky but it’s my honest experience (:

They are currently in the middle of a remodel which does not bother me, but it’s worth mentioning. They have self check out options and most of the staff are warm and friendly. The produce section is reliable and well stocked which I like knowing and they often have steam packets in the meat section with chicken/vegetable or a seafood (shrimp) and vegetable for a fresh and easy meal. Pop it in the microwave and voila!Update 1/7/21 – they now have new carts. Some of which are the shorter double decker carts. I realize it is one of those ‘little’ things completely to all that is going on the world, but having a user friendly quiet cart does make the shopping experience more pleasant.
