I purchased warranty for my washer. I called geek squad to get it fixed. It turns out they subcontract to local company. I waited for a week to get a call and nothing happened. Called them back and they said it had been set up. I called the local company and it turns out they had my wrong cell number but they had my correct home number. They claimed they couldn’t get a hold of me. I checked caller id and i had not received any calls from them. Here I am almost a month later and now the local company set up an appointment and they are late. So it turns out my washer is unrepairable. I went to the store to get a new one and replace this one according to the geek squad warranty. They gave me 647 towards the new one…not the 1000 I paid for it. IWhen I purchased the warrantly-279 dollars extra for 5 years. I was told that I would get a brand new one if they could not repair it under the warranty. So their warranty will only pay the prorated price to replace your washer. Which means I can only get a cheaper washer not the same quality or name brand I originally bought. Very upset with Best Buy and Geek squad!
