Sunset Sweets Ice Cream & Treats in Lodi, CA has mouth-delighting ice cream in a fun atmosphere.This super family friendly business features Gunther’s (out of Sacramento since 1940) ice cream in a Hawaiian themed shop.Seating is available inside and outside. The outside seating is surrounded by a half-wall and there are thatched type umbrellas to keep your temperature down while you enjoy your cold treats!I opted for a hot fudge sundae with a double scoop of Oreo ice cream topped with whipped cream! It was delightful!Great selection. Quality products. Helpful, friendly service.Since my visit was on a Sunday, I got lucky because they have a 25% off church special!Plenty of parking here too.

They have Gunther’s ice cream here, really that’s all that needs to be said! This is an old fashioned ice cream shop, they are a dying breed. The service is wonderful and the food is great. I highly recommend this establishment.

The ice cream is so creamy and the flavors are awesome. I take all my friends there for their first time. Just as an excuse to have their ice cream again!I love Strawberry Cheese Cake, Birthday Cake and of course the Vanilla! Very affordable! They have specials every day, go in and check them out! The staff is friendly and patience when you can’t make up your mind!
