A quality build from a local shop, Mike’s team helped in all aspects of my build. From the moment I drove into the shop to the end when the build was completed and I was given an invitation to go on a road trip to Baja California.. expert, professional help and guidance from parts selection, to specific items that would or would not be useful to my build. Mike even came to my house when I didn’t understand something and thought there was a problem he came and checked the rig, turns out my inexperience but he wanted to ensure that not only the rig was safe but so was I. It was a haul for me to get my 4Runner here from Marin County but it was totally worth it. Annie in the office was awesome about helping me source tires and wheels that were in short supply because of all the pandemic manufacturing impact. The price was right and they were great about squeezing me in on a busy day even though all I was doing was getting tires and wheels put on while the majority of the work they do is much more involved suspension work etc.This is the way a small business in the Bay area should be run – focus on the customer and quality I will totally be back for more when it’s time to lift my rig.

Was looking into where and what to do to my 4Runner’s 200k mile suspension and after a phone call with Shaffer’s I was convinced this was where to get it done. Shaffer’s offers competitive pricing & to order parts but I ordered them myself. No surprise my parts didn’t arrive in time and I missed my appointment but Annie at Shaffer’s worked with me to squeeze my car in at their earliest convenience and I got it back the next day. Took if off the beaten path that very weekend and fully loaded with folks & camping gear the car felt great. The shop assured me that they stand by their work and that if I have issues, I could come back and see them. A lot of 4Runner owners like to do this work themself but I slept a lot better knowing some real experienced pros installed and aligned everything for me. I recommend their service to anyone looking for professional off-road service. Thanks y’all!
