Well, now the only problem I have is that there are not more stars available!A little over a year into our new carpet installation, I noticed that there was a patchy pilling problem developing. We had, a.) chosen this quality carpet not only for looks but for wearability, and b.) chose Carpet One for their reputation, and the fact that they are locally owned and not a big box retailer.I reached out to express my concern and see if there was a solution to the problem, and long story short (and 49 emails and five inspections into it!) each solution that was offered failed (ie, professional steam clean, contact manufacturer, contact fiber maker, etc), I simply asked for an explanation as to how a (very expensive) quality product in such a low traffic area could possibly fail so quickly. I assumed in this day and age, that the answer would be sorry and that would be that.Samantha was my main point of contact, and she very proactively kept me posted at every turn, as we awaited news from inspectors, manufacturers, and management. When it came down to what looked like the last road to a solution, she pulled the owner into the conversation to see what Scott could do for me. He personally inspected and agreed that it was definitely not acceptable wear. He tried one last round on his end to try to see if a solution could be offered by his contacts for the product, but to no avail.But…here comes the very unexpected happy ending! Scott wanted to make this situation right, and informed me that he would FULLY REPLACE THE CARPET AT NO COST TO ME.I know, right???I can only say that I am truly impressed with Carpet One’s commitment to their customers. The extent to which Samantha and Scott went to bat for us was, in itself, a testament to their integrity. But the offer to replace the problem carpeting is proof of the superiority of their service and above all, their business ethics.Moral of the story — there would have been no recompense from any big box store. These guys will go the extra mile (or ten!) to keep their customer happy. They have a life-time customer in me!

Carpet One was amazing! I would recommend them hands-down to anyone looking for new carpeting or flooring for their home. The buying process was quick and easy and the installation was just as seamless. Five stars! I would work them again in a heartbeat.
