I was on the hunt for a fast, lightweight bike for distance and elevations with (gasp) upright handlebars. I know- relatively unheard of in the biking world — after trying on a very bikes a helpful bike associate at the shop suggested I contact Scott (owner) for a custom build.Scott 100% understood what I was looking for and I felt no judgment for wanting upright handlebars which feel better on my body. I want to be biking when I’m 75 ya’ll.A couple weeks later and and a very reasonable cost for a custom build I’ve got my new bike and I am so happy! Plus it comes with free tune-ups at the shop.Thanks Alameda Bicycle!

Happy customer since 2006 when I bought my Stumpjumper. I’ve bought several of my bikes and still continue to bring in for service. Very helpful, knowledgeable and rider focused. To boot, they offer lifetime tuneups! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great local shop to patronize.
