Very long lines to get food and the main food court 90% shut down.

Great America did a great job of giving the park a refresh while it was down and out due to the pandemic. Everything is so clean and fresh. Most people who visit follow the safety protocol. Though we have found while waiting in lines for attractions that most do not socially distance themselves. That is not Great America’s fault as they have placed line markers everywhere. We wished all the stores were open but understand since they are still operating at reduced capacity. We look forward to going more through the year. Why is one star removed? The food is just basic. Maybe their Taste of Orleans coming up in July will change our mind.

Enjoyed our day. Entering was a breeze, only took about 5 minutes to get into the park after we parked. We did arrive a little early to our 11:30 am scheduled time. We mainly stayed in the kid section. No wait on some rides and a few minutes on others. Not crowded and almost everyone kept masks on and followed rules of social distancing. Definitely returning over the summer.

Super fun amusement park with great roller coasters and a huge attached water park. I rode my first looping coaster here, the Demon, and it’s still awesome after all these years. Season passes are each about the cost of two tickets, they also sell ticket packages with food included, so you can drop off your teens without having to give them cash.
