The shop owner was welcoming & friendly! Such a cool selection of unique pieces. An absolute gem here in Woodstock! Also, I felt safe as I shopped with a mask, in compliance with COVID restrictions Molly (the shop owner) was also great about adhering to this rule, as were the other customers. Definitely check out this spot!

Friends and I stepped into this shop and got chased out for taking a sip of my drink. I took a sip of my drink while browsing and the woman working at the store stormed over to me and very confrontationally said I needed to wear a mask and there was a sign. I immediately complied and said I am planning to wear a mask the entire time and want to be safe etc. and was only lowering to take a sip. That wasn’t good enough and she basically asked me to leave. I left to avoid being treated badly. When I left my friend heard her speaking badly about me when all I was trying to do was be nice and courteous and respectful. She lost a customer. Please be aware Covid is something we are all combating together and approaching people with anger and being combative about it is not helping the situation.Reply to shop owner: I agree with you – you have every right to ask me not to eat/drink/remove my mask for any reason in the store and I was more than willing to comply with this. The problem I have is that you told me in a very rude way when you could have asked nicely. Regardless, I pulled up my mask immediately and let you know I understood and was sorry. You continued on about how I had to finish outside or leave my drink up front and that I should have seen the mask sign up front. That pushed me to leave the store. I understand where you were coming from but wish you had asked in a nicer way. You would have kept a few customers and avoided a sour moment on a beautiful day.
