I’ve been going to to trader’s for 20 years and I’m so glad there’s one in Chico. We go fairly regularly. If you like plant-based sausage, their brand is awesome! They used to carry a quinoa pesto that was incredible but for some reason they discontinued the item. But we can’t pass up the box of 12 Charles Shaw red blend wine bottles for $23. Can’t wait for floor samples to return. If I didn’t already have a job, I’d love to work here.

Trader Joe’s.The good… fresh food in a well organized space. The ready to eat salads are my lunch staple. Lots and lots of heat and eat food. Shopping on Sunday means a packeted refrigerator and freezer. Lots of food to eat during the week.I overfill the basket every time I shop and at the register they break my order into to carts and help me to my car.The bad… watch the dates on the perishables because you often can not get a while weeks worth of food without expiring. The building is a bit small and the lines are long.The ugly…so much if the items they sale become unavailable because they are discontinued or switching vendors.
